  • “Website” refers to the official Oxford Classic Publishers website and its content.
  • “Deliverables” refers to the text, designs, files, manuscripts, drafts, published content, or marketing materials provided to the Client.

2. Eligibility

By using our services, you confirm that:

  • You are at least 18 years of age, or
  • You have legal authority to enter into a binding contract, and
  • All information you provide is accurate and complete.

3. Scope of Services

Oxford Classic Publishers provides professional publishing services, which may include:

  • Book writing and ghostwriting
  • Editing and proofreading
  • Book formatting (eBook and print)
  • Cover design and interior layout
  • Publishing assistance
  • ISBN assistance (if included in package)
  • Book marketing and promotional services
  • Author branding and consultation
  • Distribution support

Service availability may vary depending on package selection.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any service at any time.

4. Client Responsibilities

The Client agrees to:

  • Provide accurate content, information, and files required to complete the project.
  • Respond to communication and approvals in a timely manner.
  • Provide correct spelling of names, book titles, and required details.
  • Ensure that submitted content does not violate any laws or third-party rights.
  • Cooperate throughout the project timeline.

Delays caused by the Client may impact delivery timelines.

5. Project Timelines and Delivery

Estimated delivery timelines are provided based on the typical workflow. However:

  • Delivery time may vary depending on complexity and Client responsiveness.
  • Any delays caused by revisions, missing information, or lack of approvals may extend timelines.
  • Oxford Classic Publishers is not responsible for missed deadlines caused by the Client.

We will provide deliverables digitally unless otherwise agreed.

6. Revisions Policy

Oxford Classic Publishers offers revisions based on the selected service package.

  • Revisions must be requested within the time period communicated in the project scope.
  • Revisions are limited to the scope of the original agreement.
  • Additional revisions or new requests beyond the scope may require extra charges.

Revisions do not include complete rework unless explicitly stated.

7. Payments and Pricing

All pricing is communicated before project initiation.

By purchasing a service, you agree to pay:

  • Full payment upfront, OR
  • A deposit followed by milestone payments, depending on the agreement.

Oxford Classic Publishers reserves the right to:

  • Suspend services if payment is not received on time.
  • Refuse delivery until full payment is completed.

All prices are in USD unless otherwise stated.

8. Refund Policy

Oxford Classic Publishers operates under a strict service-based refund policy.

Refund Eligibility

Refunds may be considered only if:

  • Work has not started, OR
  • No deliverables have been provided.

Non-refundable Services

Refunds are not provided for:

  • Completed work or partially delivered work
  • Editing, proofreading, or formatting once started
  • Ghostwriting after drafts are shared
  • Marketing services once campaigns begin
  • Custom design services once concepts are delivered
  • Consultation or strategy sessions already provided

Chargebacks

Clients must contact Oxford Classic Publishers before filing a dispute or chargeback. Unfair chargebacks may result in service termination and legal action.

9. Cancellation of Services

Clients may cancel services by written request.

  • If cancellation occurs after work begins, payment may not be refundable.
  • Any work completed until cancellation remains billable.
  • Oxford Classic Publishers may retain partial payments for time and resources invested.

Oxford Classic Publishers reserves the right to cancel services if:

  • The Client violates these Terms
  • The Client becomes abusive, threatening, or uncooperative
  • Fraudulent activity is suspected
  • Payments are not made

10. Ownership and Intellectual Property

Client-owned Content

The Client retains full ownership of content they provide, including original manuscripts, ideas, and outlines.

Company-owned Materials

Oxford Classic Publishers retains ownership of internal tools, templates, processes, design concepts, drafts, and proprietary systems unless transferred under a written agreement.

Final Deliverables

Upon full payment, the Client receives ownership rights to final deliverables, excluding any licensed third-party assets.

11. Ghostwriting and Confidentiality

If ghostwriting services are purchased:

  • Oxford Classic Publishers agrees to maintain confidentiality of the Client’s identity and project details.
  • The Client agrees not to claim ownership of drafts until final payment is made.

If confidentiality agreements are required, separate NDA terms may be applied.

12. Copyright and Plagiarism Disclaimer

The Client confirms that any content submitted:

  • Is original, or properly licensed, or used with permission
  • Does not violate copyright laws
  • Does not contain plagiarized material

Oxford Classic Publishers is not responsible for copyright violations caused by Client-submitted content.

We may use plagiarism-checking tools where necessary. If plagiarism is found, services may be suspended.

13. Third-party Platforms and Publishing Accounts

Oxford Classic Publishers may assist with publishing on platforms such as:

  • Amazon KDP
  • IngramSpark
  • Barnes & Noble Press
  • Apple Books
  • Kobo
  • Google Books

However:

  • Oxford Classic Publishers does not control platform approvals or rejections.
  • Publishing platforms may update policies at any time.
  • We do not guarantee bestseller rankings, book sales, reviews, or platform acceptance.

The Client is responsible for maintaining ownership of platform accounts unless otherwise agreed.

14. Marketing Disclaimer

Marketing and promotional services may include advertising, SEO, book campaigns, social media promotion, and brand exposure.

Oxford Classic Publishers does not guarantee:

  • Specific sales volume
  • Bestseller status
  • Media coverage
  • Publishing awards
  • Positive reviews
  • Platform algorithm results

Marketing results depend on multiple external factors, including audience demand, competition, and budget.

15. ISBN and Copyright Registration Disclaimer

If ISBN or copyright services are included:

  • We assist in preparation and filing processes where applicable.
  • Approval times depend on government or platform processing.
  • Oxford Classic Publishers is not responsible for delays from third-party agencies.

16. Communication Policy

Clients agree to communicate professionally through:

  • Email
  • Phone
  • Chat support
  • Assigned project manager communication channels

Oxford Classic Publishers may record calls for quality assurance and training purposes.

17. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law:

Oxford Classic Publishers shall not be liable for:

  • Indirect damages
  • Lost profits or revenue
  • Loss of business opportunity
  • Platform suspensions
  • Third-party publishing platform issues
  • Delays caused by the client or external platforms

Our maximum liability shall not exceed the total amount paid by the Client for the specific service purchased.

18. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Oxford Classic Publishers and its employees, contractors, and affiliates from claims arising out of:

  • Copyright infringement
  • Misuse of deliverables
  • Violation of laws
  • Client-provided content
  • Publishing disputes related to Client actions

19. Privacy Policy

20. Testimonials and Portfolio Use

Oxford Classic Publishers may use anonymized or non-sensitive project results for marketing unless the Client requests confidentiality.

If the Client provides a review or testimonial, we may use it on:

  • Website
  • Social media
  • Ads
  • Email campaigns

The Client may request removal by contacting us.

21. Prohibited Use

Clients may not use our services for:

  • Illegal activity
  • Hate speech or violent extremist content
  • Fraudulent publishing
  • Fake reviews or manipulated ratings
  • Defamation or harmful content
  • Copyright infringement

We reserve the right to refuse service for any reason.

22. Force Majeure

Oxford Classic Publishers is not liable for delays caused by events beyond our control, including but not limited to:

  • Natural disasters
  • Internet outages
  • Government restrictions
  • Platform outages
  • Cyber-attacks
  • Pandemics
  • Labor disruptions

23. Termination

Termination does not remove payment obligations for completed work.
